clean room comfortable bed helpful staff delicious food
I found the room very clean. I had a good night's sleep because the bed was comfortable. The staff provided helpful assistance when I asked for directions. The hotel restaurant offered delicious food (the steak pie was great!).

broken bathroom lights disinterested staff
The bathroom situation was dire. The lights didn't work at all. i reported it, but i doubt anything happened, as staff seemed disinterested after the initial apology. also, the breakfast area seemed like a free-for-all with coachloads of guests fighting for tables, so i skipped it.

cold shower unanswered call
the bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's rest.
The lack of hot water was a significant issue. i had to endure a cold shower, not a pleasant experience. the check-out process was also problematic. No staff were present at reception, and my calls went unanswered, unacceptable.

The staff was very friendly. Leia. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect, situated on the high street and next to the railway station (very practical).
I noticed that the room seemed a bit hot, and I couldn't regulate it via the radiator.

the staff at the front desk were very helpful. they provided clear directions and assistance with local information. the location was convenient for accessing nearby shops and restaurants. i found it easy to walk to various points of interest. the breakfast offered a satisfactory selection of items.
